The first structural beams for the Bluffton Parkway flyover project arrived last week and are being placed between concrete columns. Each concrete beam is 90 feet long. The $36 million flyover project to link the parkway with U.S. 278 and the bridges to Hilton Head Island began in May 2013 and is estimated to be completed by November 2015.
