Summer Reading Program at the St. Helena Island Library

Shamir Fripp, 14, of St. Helena Island tastes some of the stage blood Friday that Dottie Allen of Aiken touring theater company Porkchop Productions uses to create a fake gash on her arm during the summer reading program at the St. Helena Island library. Fripp said the stage blood "tasted like a mint .... It was good."
