Hilton Head man faces cocaine charges

A Hilton Head Island man was arrested Monday and charged with selling and distributing cocaine as the result of an ongoing drug investigation, according to the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office.

Dominik Jermaine Frost, 34, was arrested at about 2 a.m. near Southwood Park Drive on Hilton Head, Sgt. Robin McIntosh said. Investigators conducted a controlled purchase of crack cocaine from Frost on Feb. 14 and later got an arrest warrant, she said.

Frost was in the Beaufort County Detention Center on Tuesday, with bail set at $50,000, according to the jail log.
