A Bluffton resident was arrested Sunday on cocaine and other drug charges, according to the Bluffton Police Department.
When officers stopped Kuwan Andrea Fields, 25, for not using a turn signal and following too closely, they thought they smelled marijuana, according to department spokesman Capt. Joseph Manning. Officers searched the vehicle and found 10.71 grams of crack cocaine, .41 grams of cocaine, marijuana and wax marijuana, Manning said.
Fields was arrested and charged with trafficking cocaine, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released from the Beaufort County Detention Center on a $36,860 bond, according to the jail log.
