SoBA announces scholarship winners

Mirco Cavallarin and Maria Garcia are the recipients of the 2014 Naomi McCracken Scholarship given by the Society of Bluffton Artists.

Mirco Cavallarin and Maria Garcia are the recipients of the 2014 Naomi McCracken Scholarship given by the Society of Bluffton Artists. Each year, the society awards scholarships to Bluffton High School graduating seniors who have been accepted to an accredited art college and plan to major in the visual arts.

Cavallarin is the first place winner. He is planning a career in graphic design; he will attend the University of South Carolina Beaufort for a year before attending Winthrop University.

Garcia is the second place winner. She is planning a career in fashion photography and also will attend USCB for a year before attending Winthrop University.
