A 37-year-old Beaufort woman was arrested Thursday after pointing a gun at her boyfriend during an argument, according to the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office.

Holly Collins was with her boyfriend at their Waterford Cove apartment in Beaufort when she pulled out a .38-caliber revolver, Sgt. Robin McIntosh said. No one was injured, she said.

Collins later approached an off-duty deputy in the apartment complex to ask for help retrieving items from the apartment, McIntosh said. She was charged with criminal domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature and released from the Beaufort County Detention Center on Friday after posting a $5,000 bond.
