The 43 students of Hilton Head Christian Academy's Class of 2014 graduated Saturday in a ceremony at First Presbyterian Church on Hilton Head Island.

Total amount of scholarship money earned by graduates: $2,242,340

Speaker: Seniors John Ziegler, Alex Cooler and Brad Meccariello

Valedictorian: John Palmano Ziegler earned a 5.20 grade point average and will attend Clemson's Calhoun Honors College to pursue a premedical track or engineering.

Salutatorian: Michael Alexander Cooler earned a 5.11 grade point average and will attend the Capstone Scholars Program at the University of South Carolina.

From the principal: "It has been a joy to work with the Class of 2014. They are a unique blend of personalities and they have worked together to leave a positive legacy at Hilton Head Christian Academy. The members of the Class of 2014 have been an inspiration to our local community reaching out to and serving others in so many ways." -- Larry Green
