A woman was hospitalized as a precaution after her car overturned in a wreck Wednesday afternoon, according to Capt. Joseph Manning of the Bluffton Police Department.

The woman's silver Chevrolet and a black Honda Accord crashed shortly before 5 p.m. at the intersection of Bluffton Parkway and Buck Island Road, Manning said. The woman was freed from her car and taken to Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah, though she did not complain of injuries, Manning said.

The Honda's driver suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene. Roads reopened after about 30 minutes, Manning said.
