USC Beaufort men's golfers Langley, Cooke are All-Americans

USC Beaufort senior Brian Langley and freshman teammate Alan Cooke were named to the NAIA Men's Golf All-America teams Monday, as selected by the NAIA Men's Golf Coaches Association All-America Committee.

A total of 45 players were honored with Langley among the 15 players named to the second team and Cooke among the 15 on the third team.

Langley's average score during his senior year was 74.13 and he posted three top-10 finishes including a tie for sixth at the Southeastern Fire Invitational -- the Sun Conference Fall Major -- and a tie for third at the ERAU Eagle Invitational -- the Sun Conference Spring Major.

Cooke was one of 10 freshmen to earn All-America status after finishing his first collegiate campaign with four top-10 finishes including a victory at the SCAD Spring Invitational. He boasted a team-best 73.56 stroke average and finished under par in 10 of his 25 rounds while carding four rounds in the 60s.
