South Aiken 4, Bluffton 0: The Thoroughbreds (18-2-1) were too much for the Bobcats (16-7) to handle in the Class 4-A boys soccer playoffs behind three goals from senior captain Skyler Lightbody.

The All-State player has six goals through two playoff games.

"Obviously we'd have liked to continue on, but at the end of the day, this is the most successful season I've had here in five years," Bluffton coach Joshua Fox said. "I couldn't be happier with this group of boys. Most fun I've had with the group."

This year's Bobcats amassed its highest win total under Fox, won the Beaufort Cup, swept Beaufort High and earned a tough split with Hilton Head Island.

"These boys have done a lot and have a lot to be proud of and I'm proud of them, Fox said. "I wouldn't trade them for any team in the nation."

Hilton Head Island at Brookland-Cayce, ppd.: The Seahawks' 8-AAA playoff match will be played at 7 p.m. Friday.
