Beaufort County high school seniors talk on TV about high school

Twenty-six college-bound seniors preparing to graduate from Beaufort County high schools next month will discuss their experiences and plans during a one-hour television program to be aired on the county's Channel at 8 p.m. Friday.

The students will answer questions posed by superintendent Jeff Moss. The questions will focus on favorite high school moments, college plans and suggestions for improving the high school experience.

The broadcast will air on local cable networks: Comcast's Channel 2, Hargray's channels 9 and 113, and Time Warner Hilton Head's Channel 63. The show also will air at 8 p.m. Friday on the County Channel's website at http://bit.ly/RH3NCc.

  • Battery Creek High -- Matalyn Dearsman, Aujena Mungin, Gabriela Portela, Rebekkah Scott and Johnathan Wright
  • Beaufort High -- Patrick Burrus, Daniel Lange, McKenna Murrie, Hayle Fields, AJ Smalls and Jayln Washington
  • Hilton Head Island High -- Rashawn Capers, Carlos Cordero, Khalil Lewis, Julissa Pozos and Elizabeth Tedesco
  • Bluffton High -- Rebecca Gray, B.J. Hill, Michael Meyerink and Laura Ortega
  • Whale Branch Early College High -- Max Ford, Michelle Gee, Maya Linyard, Byron Lloyd, James Scott and Milton Serrano
