Mayor Drew Laughlin will present service awards to 141 Hilton Head Island middle and high school students Wednesday.

The students earned the awards for completing at least 50 hours of community service this year, according to a news release. Forty-one completed more than 150 hours, the release said.

Laughlin will hand out the awards at a 4 p.m. ceremony at the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina, 14 Shelter Cove Lane on Hilton Head.
