Lt. Governor candidate connections to Haley?

May 10, 2014

Three of the GOP candidates for lieutenant governor have ties to Republican Gov. Nikki Haley. A look at those ties:

Mike Campbell: Supported Haley since she first ran for the S.C. House in 2004. Spoke at Haley’s ceremonial signing of a government restructuring bill this year.

Pat McKinney: Supported Haley in her 2010 gubernatorial campaign. Worked on her transition team. Appointed by the governor to the boards of the State Ports Authority and her foundation, The Original Six.

Henry McMaster: Campaigned for Haley after losing to her in the 2010 GOP gubernatorial primary. Worked on her transition team. Appointed by the governor to the State Ports Authority. Co-chaired her ethics reform task force.

Ray Moore: No ties
