A Bluffton traffic stop Thursday led to the arrest of a Savannah man on a drug charge, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff's Office report.

Deputies pulled over Richard L. Riley, 55, shortly after 7 p.m. after he reportedly failed to use a turn signal while driving on May River Road near Okatie Highway, the report said.

Riley was shaking as officers interviewed him and had to be reminded to provide his license and vehicle registration, the report said. When deputies searched Riley's pockets, they found more than $900 cash and a plastic bag containing about 1 gram of crack cocaine, the report said.

Riley was charged with possession with intent to distribute crack and transported to the Beaufort County Detention Center, where he posted a $10,000 bond Friday, according to the jail log.
