Deputies are investigating an armed robbery Thursday at a Burton restaurant, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff's Office news release.

A suspect with a cloth covering his face reportedly came in through the back door of China Wok on Shanklin Road shortly after 10 p.m., the release said. Armed with a pistol, the suspect demanded cash from a male employee before leaving through the back door with an undetermined amount of money.

The employee told deputies the suspect seemed nervous -- the man was shaking and the barrel of the gun drooped, the report said.

No one was injured. Deputies are still searching for the suspect, described only as a 6-foot black male wearing all-black clothing and a baseball cap.
