The 23rd AMIkids Beaufort Croquet Picnic will be Saturday at Brays Island to raise money for a program that gives young men with a troubled past a second chance.
AMIkids Beaufort is a residential facility in Dale that provides education, treatment and behavior modification for male teens convicted of nonviolent offenses.
The event will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Brays Island off U.S. 17 in Sheldon. It includes a silent auction for items and trips such as golf outings, catered dinners aboard yachts and in historic mansions, custom jewelry and vacation getaways, a news release said.
