Food was stolen and equipment vandalized during a break-in at the Richard Gray Baseball/Softball Complex behind Hardeeville City Hall, according to a city news release Monday.

Most of the damage took place in and around the concession stand, according to the release. Among items stolen were food, and baseball and softball equipment used by the University of South Carolina Beaufort, which plays home games at the complex. Baseballs and bats were thrown into the pond next to the baseball fields.

Authorities are offering a reward for information leading to an arrest. For more information, call the Hardeeville Police Department at 843-784-2233.
