ROCK HILL — An assault suspect smashed the windows of a camper and then threatened to rape and kill the children of deputies during an investigation in Rock Hill, according to a York County Sheriff's Office report.
Four deputies responded to an assault on Sandlewood Drive just before 2 a.m. Tuesday. They found Allen Hubbard, 49, of Rock Hill intoxicated, covered in blood and yelling obscenities, the report states.
Witnesses say Hubbard assaulted his brother, father and cousin before hitting vehicles in the driveway. He smashed the windows of a camper and damaged the mirror and window of a Chevy Silverado.
Hubbard told all four deputies at the scene he was going to kill them and their family, even their nieces and nephews. Hubbard also threatened to go to their children's school to rape and kill them, the report states.
Police took Hubbard to Piedmont Medical Center because he had cuts on his hand. At Piedmont, he continued his threats and yelled racial and homophobic slurs, according to the report.
Hubbard was arrested and charged with two counts of assault and battery, four counts of threatening the life of a public official, damage to property and public disorderly conduct.
He is booked at the York County Detention Center on a $52,825 bond.
