Hilton Head Island pathways and the East Coast Greenway will be the topics of the Kickin' Asphalt Bicycle Club meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Wild Wing Cafè on Hilton Head.

Dinner at 5:30 p.m. precedes the meeting, which is open to all interested in the topic or the club.

Town traffic and transportation engineer Darrin Shoemaker will give an update on the island's path system, and Jim Nicholson will discuss the East Coast Greenway, a 2,900-mile trail system being developed to link major eastern cities between Canada and Key West, Fla.
