Obama looking out for friend, Warren Buffett

newsroom@islandpacket.comApril 27, 2014

Self-made billionaire Warren Buffett owns Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad, which hauls crude oil from Canada to Texas. Buffett makes about $2 billion a year, hauling oil. If the Keystone Pipeline is built, he could lose it.

Buffett is also a financial supporter of President Obama. In a TV ad, Buffett stated that his secretary paid a higher income tax rate than he did -- even though some media reports suggest her salary is more than $200,000 annually.

Is Obama looking out for the environment or practicing crony capitalism?
