The Beaufort County Board of Elections & Registration will host two sessions, Sunday and on May 3, to provide voter photo-identification cards.

The first session is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the Tabernacle Baptist Church at 911 Craven St. in Beaufort. The second is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 3 at the St. Helena Island library at 6355 Jonathan Francis Sr. Road.

These sessions are for those who don't have a driver's license or other type of photo ID. South Carolina requires all registered voters to present a photo ID when voting.

Photo IDs can also be obtained at one of the county elections offices, at 15 John Galt Road in Beaufort or at 61-B Ulmer Road in Bluffton.
