A man tried to enter a Bluffton woman's vehicle as she was leaving work, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff's Office report.

The woman was in her car at Tanger Outlets 2 at about 10 p.m. when a man stood up from behind her car, the release said. She locked her doors, and the man knocked frantically on her door, trying to open it with his other hand.

After failing to get into the car, the suspect ran to a blue SUV and drove away, the release said.
