— A girl who was accepted to the University of South Carolina received a second letter saying her admission was in jeopardy unless she agreed to go to the prom with her boyfriend.

Caitlyn Metzker tweeted a photo of a letter and envelope with what appeared to be an official USC letterhead.

The letter said "It saddens us to say that your admission is in jeopardy, and we may have to pull our admission from you due to your poor school ethic and attendance. However if you were to just agree to go to prom with your boyfriend we could reconsider letting you continue to be a South Carolina Gamecock. So what do you say, will you go to prom with me?”

Metzker responded to the letter with a tweet that said, "Oh my god Dylan. Thank you for the heart attack. #prom"
