RBC HERITAGE NOTES: 2013 runner-up Webb Simpson among withdrawals

There won't be a replay of last year's finish when this year's RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing wraps up on Sunday.

Webb Simpson, the loser to Graeme McDowell in last year's one-hole playoff, withdrew Monday, one of four changes in the field. Jason Day, Jeff Overton and D.A. Points also withdrew.

Simpson had two 14th-place finishes and last year's runner-up finish in five Harbour Town appearances on his resume.

Day won the World Golf Championships Match Play event in February and didn't play again for six weeks before finishing 20th last week at the Masters.

Tyrone Van Aswegen replaced Simpson in the field. Also joining the field are Wes Roach, Tim Wilkinson and Andrew Loupe for Day, Overton and Points, respectively.

Van Aswegen has made the cut in nine of his 12 PGA Tour starts this season.

This is his first appearance at Harbour Town.

Loupe has missed the cut in six of his nine PGA Tour starts this year. But his season has been highlighted by a fourth-place finish at the Texas Open in March. This is his RBC Heritage debut.

Wilkinson played in the final pairing in the 2009 Heritage before finishing in a tie for sixth.

Roach has made the cut in four of his nine PGA Tour starts this season, including a tie for fourth at the Puerto Rico Open. This is his Harbour Town debut.

THE FINAL TWO

Chris DiMarco and Josh Teater were given the final two sponsor's exemptions into the tournament on Monday.

DiMarco, runner-up in the 2005 Masters and 2006 U.S. Open, will be making his 10th Harbour Town appearance. His best finish was a tie for 14th in 2011.

Teater, who has made the cut in eight of his 14 PGA Tour starts this season, is making his fifth straight Harbour Town appearance. His best Heritage finish was a tie for 56h in 2011.
