Copper wire stolen from Burton factory

About $10,000 worth of copper wire was stolen from Minster Machine Co. at 134 Parker Drive in Burton, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff's Office news release. Deputies believe the theft occured between April 5 and April 8.

A hole was cut in a fence that surrounds the property, and copper wiring from several electrical panels near an assembly line were removed, the release said.

The Sheriff's Office is searching for suspects.
