Man sought in Tuesday shooting death in Ridgeland

Authorities are searching for a man wanted in connection with a shooting death Tuesday in Ridgeland, according to a Jasper County Sheriff's Office news release.

Devin Dwayne Swinton, 23, is a suspect in the death of 23-year-old Dominique Curtis Scott, who was shot at a home on Henry Lawton Road, the release said. Swinton is considered armed and dangerous, it said.

Swinton is 5-foot-6, 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

The Sheriff's Office and the S.C. Law Enforcement Division are both investigating the shooting, the release said.
