Sheriff's Office investigating Seabrook shooting

One person was injured in a shooting in Seabrook late Friday, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff's Office report.

Deputies received multiple reports that shots had been fired in the Seabrook Center Road and Fawnwood Lane area about 10:40 p.m., the report said. Several people directed deputies to a home in the 60 block of Seabrook Center Road, but said the gunshot victim had already been brought to Beaufort Memorial Hospital.

Additional details were not available from the Sheriff's Office on Saturday. The incident is under investigation.
