Bluffton Youth Sports' Opening Day festivities Saturday at Oscar J. Frazier Park

Bluffton Youth Sports will hold its Opening Day celebration for baseball and softball at 9 a.m. Saturday at Oscar J. Frazier Park.

The ceremony will begin with the parade of players, the national anthem and a short speech from BYS president Steve Clavel, followed by the ceremonial first pitch.

The ceremonies should end by 9:30 a.m. and will be followed by a full day of games. More than 600 kids, ages 4 to 15, and 150 coaches are expected to attend.

Bluffton Youth Sports is the largest baseball/softball organization in Bluffton.
