Dawn Woodard and Sue Churchich are back on top.

A year after finishing second by two strokes at Oldfield Golf Club in Okatie, Woodard (Thornblade) and Churchich (Belfair) shot a two-day total of 72-69--141 to win the Women's S.C. Golf Association Team Championship by three strokes at the Crooked Oaks Course at Seabrook Island.

Woodard and Churchich, the 2012 champions, edged Long Cove's Karen Ferree and Lea Anne Browne. Ferree was shooting for her seventh win in this event. She won in 1998, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2007 and 2008.

Defending champions Sharon Son Hing (Long Cove Club) and Kristin Berger (Hampton Hall) finished fifth among the 55 participating teams.
