Gardeners to donate tree to Fort Mitchel

The Avid Gardeners of Hilton Head Plantation will donate a live oak to Fort Mitchel, with a planting ceremony at 10 a.m. Thursday.

The fort is in Hilton Head Plantation and is owned and maintained by the Heritage Library Foundation. A tour of the fort will follow the planting.

To register, call the Coastal Discovery Museum at 843-689-6767, ext. 223. Fees are $12 per adult and $7 per child ages 6-12.
