Battle Color Detachment to perform

The Marine Corps' Battle Color Detachment will perform Tuesday at Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort.

The ceremony, which starts at 2:30 p.m., is free and open to the public and will be performed on the grass lawn in front of the base's headquarters building.

Attendees must enter through the main gate at the intersection of U.S. 21 and S.C. 116. A valid driver's license, proof of insurance and vehicle registration is required.

Bleacher seating will be provided, but visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, a news release said. Visitors should arrive at least 30 minutes early.
