A Ridgeland woman was injured Sunday when a car drove over her foot in a parking lot, according to a Hardeeville Police Department report.

The 49-year-old woman was walking in the lot along Independence Boulevard in Hardeeville at about 3 p.m. when a black car drove over her foot, the report said.

The victim told police the driver asked if she was all right, but drove away before she could answer.

On Tuesday, when the pain in her foot persisted, the woman reported the incident and sought medical attention, the report said.
