First it was All-State, now it's North-South All-Stars.

Seniors D.J. Dobson of Bluffton and Terrance Frazier of Ridgeland-Hardeeville have been selected to play for the South team in the S.C. Basketball Coaches Association's North-South All-Star Game to be held March 22 at Lexington High School.

Both players were named to the SCBCA's All-State squads for their respective classifications Feb. 24.

Dobson, a 6-foot-5 forward who transferred to Bluffton from Dutch Fork, led the Bobcats to a 16-7 record and the second round off the Class 4-A playoffs, where they were eliminated 54-25 by Sumter. He averaged 15.3 points and 6.5 rebounds.

According to coach Brett Macy, Dobson is the first North-South All-Star from Bluffton.

Frazier, a 6-foot-1 guard, led the Jaguars to a 21-6 record and the Class 2-A Lower State Championship, where they lost 73-62 to Lake Marion. He averaged 17.2 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 2.9 steals.

The girls game will begin at 1p.m. and the boys game will follow at 3 p.m.
