A search Friday for a Hardeeville murder suspect also led to the arrests of two men on charges of trafficking cocaine, according to a Jasper County Sheriff's Office news release.

Deputies and S.C. Law Enforcement Division investigators went to a Hardeeville hotel room Friday hoping to find Travis Wiggins, accused of killing 25-year-old Taj Lewis Garvin of Hardeeville. Wiggins, 22, was not there, but two of his friends were, Sheriff's Office Maj. Donald Hipp said.

Marion Roshawn Loury, 20, and Demetrius Marquist Hugue, 23, each were charged with trafficking between 10 and 28 grams of cocaine, simple possession of marijuana and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime, according to court records.

They were being held Tuesday at the Jasper County Detention Center, with Loury's bond set at $115,620 and Hugue's at $85,620, the records state.

Wiggins, of Hardeeville, was arrested on murder charges Friday and is being held at the detention center without bond.
