Workers from R.L. Morrison & Sons Inc. have returned with their barge mounted crane to dismantle and remove the shrimp boat Dianie, one of two that sank in Jarvis Creek off the north end of Hilton Head in August. The wreckage of the other vessel, Lady Essie, already has been removed and taken to Charleston for disposal. The Town of Hilton Head is paying more than $157,000 from reserves for the work, which began Feb. 25 and was expected to take 40 days to complete. JAY KARR — Staff photo Buy Photo
