Who is your favorite teacher from childhood and why? My favorite teacher was Mrs. Helen Riddle. She was my seventh-grade homeroom/social studies teacher. She really made a mark on my life. She was my inspiration for becoming a school teacher. She was very fair and made learning fun. She was so knowledgeable of the content that she was teaching. She always enhanced our social studies lessons with videos and photos -- being a visual learner, this really helped me to internalize the information. I always felt successful and confident in her class.
