EVENTS

  • The Shamrock Shakedown is 7 p.m.-midnight March 15 at Q on Bay in downtown Beaufort. It is a community event and open to all 21 and older. Tickets are $45 in advance ($50 at the door) and include a barbecue dinner, live music by the Clustershucks, beer, wine and a silent auction. Proceeds benefit the academy.   • BRIDGES PREPARATORY SCHOOL

    ACHIEVEMENTS

  • Jennifer Bryant, a fourth-grade math and science teacher, was awarded a RelfexMath grant by ExploreLearning. This grant will provide her students with 30 free licenses to practice math facts through online gaming.

  • The Black History Month Gallery Winners were Lee Moreno in first place, Patrick Smith-Rivero in second place and Brian Cobban in third place.
