Hilton Head High girls lacrosse team still unbeaten after win over Bluffton

The Hilton Head Island High School girls lacrosse team remained unbeaten on the year, holding off Bluffton down the stretch Wednesday night for a 14-12 victory.

Abby Ogden scored five goals and Haley Matousek had four for Hilton Head High (4-0). Katy Bautista added two goals, Tristyn Sheaffer had a goal and two assists, and Mary Piper Martel also scored.

Shayra Valdez made 10 saves in goal for the Seahawks, who host top-ranked J.L. Mann on Saturday. J.L. Mann plays at Bluffton on Friday.
