Great to know neighbors still help their neighbors

I pulled up to the traffic light the other night, leaving Hilton Head Plantation, and witnessed the most incredible sight.

There had been a two-vehicle collision on U.S. 278 at the intersection of Hilton Head Plantation and Indigo Run, resulting in an SUV flipping on its side.

All traffic had stopped. About a dozen men of all ages, races, sizes and (I suspect) political affiliations abandoned their vehicles and worked together to right the SUV. The passenger and driver were able to exit by their own power and wait for the emergency vehicles to arrive. It was truly an amazing team effort. The Olympics have nothing on us. Bravo, Team Hilton Head!
