Five area basketball players named All-State

Five area high school basketball players were named to the S.C. Basketball Coaches Association's All-State teams on Monday.

Here's a look at the five local selections:

Class 4-A Boys -- D.J. Dobson, Bluffton

15.3 points per game, 6.5 rebounds per game, 1.8 assist per game, 1.5 steals per game

Class 2-A Boys -- Terrance Frazier, Ridgeland-Hardeeville

17.2 ppg, 4.1 rpg, 2.3 apg, 2.4 spg

Class 3-A Girls -- Americal Jenkins, Hilton Head Island

12.9 ppg, 16.6 rpg, 4.7 spg, 2.3 blocks per game

Class 2-A Girls -- Daisja Cannon, Battery Creek

19.1 ppg, 4.8 rpg, 2.6 apg, 4.8 spg

Class 1-A Girls -- Kemoni Jenkins, Whale Branch

15.1 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 5.1 apg, 4.6 spg
