Bluffton Police Department Chief Joey Reynolds will host a Feb. 24 event for residents to offer suggestions and discuss concerns about public safety.

The event, the first in a quarterly series called "Grab a Cup of Joe with Chief Joey," runs from 5 to 7 p.m. at The Corner Perk Cafe, 142 Burnt Church Road in Bluffton.

Other police officers will also be on hand to answer questions, according to a news release.

"Bringing people together in a casual setting fosters conversation that is more difficult to have at a police station or in the field," Reynolds said.
