Crimes were not front page material

info@islandpacket.comFebruary 15, 2014

I was sorry to see that there was so few newsworthy events available that the newspaper had to sink to a low journalistic standard -- featuring on the front page photos and descriptions of criminals waiting to stand trial for their crimes. It certainly didn't say much for the paper. Perhaps that is why the written media is on its way out of favor.

There are more important stories waiting to be told.

Why doesn't the paper try a little and come up with an article with more depth and interest?
