Former Bluffton employee sentenced for embezzlement

A former employee of a group of Bluffton car dealerships was sentenced to two years in prison Thursday for embezzling more than $130,000, according to a 14th Circuit Solicitor's Office news release.

Jessica Goodman, a former accountant for the New River Auto Mall, pleaded guilty to one count of breach of trust of more than $10,000, the release said. Judge Carmen Mullen sentenced her to prison time followed by five years of probation and the repayment of $133,064.

Goodman, 33, of Garnett, stole the money between October 2009 and October 2012, the release said.
