Credit card companies aren't safety conscious

info@islandpacket.comFebruary 10, 2014

When you use a credit card, there should be the expectation that the credit card company is doing everything in its power to protect your money and credit.

When you go to Europe or Asia, you cannot use American credit cards because they're not safe. European credit cards have a chip inside of them so they're difficult to hack.

All the credit card companies know this. Rather than upgrading their cards, they feel their only responsibility is to say we're sorry that someone stole your identity. It's like saying, "Gee, I'm sorry your pregnant."

If the credit card companies were held financially responsible, this would have fixed the problem years ago.
