Two Burton brothers were accused Thursday of sexually assaulting two girls in 2006, according to the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office.

Elidoro Carrillo Ontivero, 44, and Julio Ontiveros-Carrillo, 39, were charged with four counts each of criminal sexual conduct with a minor. They were being held Friday at the Beaufort County Detention Center pending bond hearings, according to the jail log.

In spring 2006, the brothers sexually assaulted Julio Ontiveros-Carrillo's girlfriend's daughters, who are ages 6 and 7, McIntosh said.

In January, the victims disclosed the incidents to their mother, who contacted the Sheriff's Office, according to McIntosh.
