Superintendent of year to speak in Hardeeville

The Women's Leadership Council of the United Way of the Lowcountry will host its second "community dialogue," from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Palmetto Electric Cooperative in Hardeeville.

Rose Wilder, superintendent of Clarendon School District 1 and the state's superintendent of the year for 2013-14, will speak.

Renarta Tompkins of the University of South Carolina Beaufort will also speak on the success of the United Way's Early Grade Reading Program.
