A Hilton Head Island woman told deputies nearly $95,000 worth of jewelry was taken from her apartment, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff's Office report.

The victim reported that her items went missing sometime between Jan. 10 and Sunday, while she was away from her Long Cove Club home.

When the woman returned home, she discovered that her $11,000 gold Cartier watch was missing. So were seven other pieces, including a $29,000 black pearl necklace and a $26,000 sapphire tennis bracelet, the report said.
