Caring Neighbors Inc., and organization that helps seniors age in their homes, is having two volunteer orientations: 10:30 a.m. Feb. 4 at the Bluffton library, 120 Palmetto Way, or 1:30 p.m. Feb. 5 at Church of the Palms, 1425 N Okatie Highway, Okatie.

Volunteers visit seniors to share conversation, memories, games or exercise while giving caregivers time to run errands. Some volunteers also drive clients to appointments or on errands. The volunteer schedule is flexible. In 2013, volunteers logged more than 2,100 hours and helped 25 seniors. To register: 843-368-2096 to register.
