A Hardeeville man was robbed at gunpoint last week, according to a Hardeeville Police Department report.

The 28-year-old told officers he was walking near the U.S. Post Office on Whyte Hardee Boulevard at about 7:15 p.m. Jan. 23 when a black man wearing black clothing pointed a handgun at him.

The robber took $75 cash and ran south, the report said. Police and Jasper County Sheriff's Office deputies searched the area but did not find the suspect.
