Fellowship. When I first got (to Meadowbrook) I helped get the sound system and everything else set up. Now I'm the chairman of our deacon board. The deacon board makes, for lack of a better term, business decisions for the church. I just enjoy fellowshipping with other godly men that have a similar vision for how to preach to our community.

Greatest lesson. The church as a whole has taught me: If you're going to err, err on the side of grace and showing people grace and love.

Favorite Bible verse. Philippians 4:5-6. "Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." It says not to be anxious. It's just a reminder to me that no matter what's happening in my life, if we seek God in those things, he'll help settle our spirit.
